An homage to the Gaza Strip based on the eternal return. A journey following one man through five different landscapes marks the end as the beginning, forgetting as the way forward, and the failure of civilization.
Basma Alsharif is an artist/filmmaker born in Kuwait of Palestinian origin, raised between France, the U.S., and the Gaza Strip, who is now based in Los Angeles. She has a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Illinois at Chicago and developed her practice nomadically between cinema and installation, focusing on the human condition in relation to shifting geopolitical landscapes. Ouroboros is her first feature film
